Service Intervals

Briggs & Stratton recommends oil changes every 50 hours or annually. Air filters should be checked every 25 hours. Spark plugs every 100 hours or annually. The company publishes detailed maintenance schedules for each engine series, and Paul follows these precisely. For the newer EXi electronic engines, he also checks the battery and electronic systems as part of every service.
