Symptoms: Oil weeping from top of engine, oil dripping onto deck, burning oil smell

Typical fix: Replace rocker cover gaskets, clean mating surfaces, check torque on cover bolts

Moderate — messy and causes oil loss but easy to fix if caught early

Symptoms: Engine hard to start, runs rough, surges or stalls under load

Typical fix: Strip and clean carburettor, replace float needle and jets if corroded, drain and replace fuel

Very common — especially after winter storage without draining fuel

Symptoms: Engine misfires, runs on one cylinder (V-Twins), intermittent cutting out

Typical fix: Test ignition coils, replace failed coil, check air gap to flywheel, inspect wiring

High — engine won't run properly and may not start at all

Symptoms: Click when turning key but engine doesn't crank, intermittent starting

Typical fix: Replace starter solenoid, check battery condition and connections, test starter motor draw

High — machine won't start, often fails without warning
