Symptoms: Machine pulls to one side, sluggish response, whining from hydraulic system

Typical fix: Check hydraulic fluid level, replace hydraulic filters, test pump pressure, may need motor rebuild

High — hydraulic failure is expensive if not caught early

Symptoms: Vibration from deck, grinding or squealing noise, uneven cut, blade wobble

Typical fix: Replace spindle bearings, check blade balance, inspect spindle shaft for wear, replace if scored

High — continued use damages spindle housing and can throw a blade

Symptoms: Engine starved of fuel under load, surging, stalling on slopes, hard starting

Typical fix: Replace fuel pump diaphragm or complete pump, check fuel lines and filter, inspect tank vent

Moderate — worsens over time and causes unreliable operation

Symptoms: Click when turning key but engine won't crank, intermittent starting, dead on key turn

Typical fix: Replace starter solenoid, test battery condition, check wiring connections, test starter motor draw

High — machine won't start and fails without warning
